Stuffed Celery Appetizers

Pat's Story

This simple appetizer will become a traditional holiday recipe.
A WWII recipe Aunt Martha and Uncle Joe got the recipe from one of their favorite restaurant's in Chicago-1943.


2 bunch
8 oz
pkg. reduced fat cream cheese, softened
3/4 c
blue cheese crumbles
1/4 c
roquefort cheese, crumbled
3 Tbsp
diced shallots

Directions Step-By-Step

Wash and trim celery and then cut rubs into 3 inch pieces.
In a food processor, blend all except paprika, until they reach a mixture like stiff whipped cream.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Spoon mixture into celery wells and sprinkle with paprika.
Serve chilled.
carrot and raisins or crasins.

Pat ,I was looking for one one appetizer to put on the bufet table for my wedding vow renewel...My Mom use to make something like this,when I was a girl ,but she can't remember what it was ....I can mix this up the day before and pipe it in the celery ,the day of the renewal.....Once again ,you Rock...

Thanks Pat! Just going through the recipes I have from my mother gigantic collection. I only took a few and have been having fun posting those. I don't know where the rest of them ended up. Will have to ask around the family to see. Hugs and blessings to you!
