Slice green tomatoes and place on a hot smokey Grill for 3 minutes per side. (rub olive oil salt and pepper on tomatoes before placing on the grill) Cool for 5-10 minutes.
Take grilled tomatoes and dip in egg wash and cornmeal x2.
Since tomatoes are already cooked fry slices in medium hot oil until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towel.
Place 2 slices on a serving plate. Top with a spoonful of sour cream and fresh salsa on top.
Optional: Garnish with Cilantro
Fresh Salsa Recipe: 4 Diced Fresh Red Tomatoes-1 onion diced-2 chopped jalepeno peppers-Fresh Cilantro chopped-2 garlic cloves-Salt and pepper to taste and a dash of cumin. (fresh scallions would be a great substitute for onions)
