Ingredients For padellata di porcini/braised porcini mushrooms

  • 3 Tbsp
    extra- virgin olive oil
  • 3 clove
    garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 2 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 lb
    fresh porcini mushroom, lightly brushed to remove any dirt
  • 2
    ripe plum tomatoes, peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 c
    dry white wine
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped fresh mint.
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped fresh italian parsley

How To Make padellata di porcini/braised porcini mushrooms

  • 1
    Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and porcini and cook until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the tomatoes and italian seasoning and cook for another 2 minutes. Deglase with the wine, lightly season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5 minutes more. sprinkle with the herbs, toss and serve.
