- finely grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c
- butter, softened
- 1/4 tsp
- hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 tsp
- 1 tsp
- 1 c
- all purpose flour, unsifted
- pimento-stuffed green olives (approx.)
1Mix thoroughly cheese, butter, hot pepper sauce, salt, paprika and flour.
Form portion of dough around each well drained olive.
2Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
Brush pastry with beaten egg.
Bake until golden, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Optional.....Before baking, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
