Pack raw Okra firmly into hot jars, leaving a 1/4" headspace. Put garlic bud and a hot pepper into each jar of okra. Mix salt, water, vinegar and dill seed into a pot and bring to a boil. Pour hot mixture into jars over okra. Adjust caps. Process 15 minutes in boiling water. Start timing when they start boiling. Yields 4-5 pints.
