My little friend Loriane, part of the Licorice Gang use to make this wonderful garlic bread that was a meal in it's self. It goes great with a bowl of Soup or Spaghetti or Chili

Ingredients For loriane's garlic bread

  • 1
    loaf of fresh from the bakery french or italian bread
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 6
    garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp
    sesame seeds
  • 1 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can
    6 oz, sliced black olives
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh parsley chopped fine
  • 2 c
    monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp
    lemon pepper
  • 14 oz
    artichoke hearts, drained
  • 4
    tomatoes thinly sliced

How To Make loriane's garlic bread

    Preheat oven to 350*. Cut the bread lenghtwise. Foil a cookie sheet.

    Place bread on sheet and scoop out the middle of the bread. Cube the middle bread. Combine the bread with melted butter, garlic, sesame seeds, sour cream and olives until all the Bread has been absorbed all the cream and butter. Place in hollowed out bread.

    Combine all the cheeses, parsley, lemon pepper and articokes. Top the bread.

    Top with sliced tomatoes.

    Bake 350* for 30 mintues. Serve hot.
