Cut a slit in the peppers without cutting all the way through, enough so you can fit a spoon or something to scrape out the seeds and ribs. Leave the tops on them! After you take out the seeds and ribs (or leave them in if you're adventerous!!) Rinse them well on the inside.
Mix the cream cheese with the crab meat, use as much or as little to suit your taste. I sometimes even leave it out or substitute chorizo sausage for the crab. So many possibilities!
Stuff the peppers with the cream cheese mix and wrap a whole slice of bacon around the outside of the pepper.
You can bake these in a 350 oven for about 20-30 minutes or they are wonderful on the grill. Cook them just until the pepper starts to get soft on the outside and the bacon is nice and cooked.
