Ingredients For hummus appetizer-homemade

  • 2 clove
    garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 1/2 to 3 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    olive oil
  • 1 pinch
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 c
    chicken stock
  • 15 oz
    can garbanzo beans, drained (if you don't have chicken stock use the juice from beans)

How To Make hummus appetizer-homemade

  • 1
    Place all ingredients in food processor, except the beans. Puree until smooth. Add garbanzo beans and continue to puree until creamy and smooth.

    Taste, and adjust seasoning to your taste. Place in an airtight refrigerator container and chill until ready to serve. To serve, bring to room temperature,serve with toasted bread,crackers or vegetables, such as bell pepper slices, cucumber, slices, carrot and celery spears.
