Lynn's Notes:

I wanted some type of french bread to go with our pasta and meatballs, but not the same ole, same ole, so this is what I came up with. This could be a vegetarian meal on it's own.

Directions

1
Saute onions and garlic in about 2 tbs. of olive oil or butter till tender. Add sliced mushrooms and cook about 5 min. more. I like to cover my skillet with a lid to hurry along the process.
2
Slice bread in half, slightly brush with olive oil or butter. Sprinkle grated mozzarella, add onions, garlic and mushrooms. Top with a little more mozzarella and some Parmesan and red pepper flakes. Place under broiler just long enough to melt cheese.

LOL....Y'all are so funny!

The down fall of loving to cook (well in my case---I'd rather be making desserts) is that....you eat it!!!

I love food...and for those short moments of time that I have thought I needed to diet...I become a person I would rather not be...and that is miserable...angry, and hungry! So to save my family from the wrath of dieting....I don't, and well, I bake, and I eat, and I'm happy as long I I put great distance between me and the scale :D
