Ingredients For spicy shrimp bites (sallye)

  • 1 to 2 lb
    cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 to 2 tsp
    granulated garlic
  • 1 bottle
    sriracha hot chili sauce
  • 2 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 lb
    thick sliced bacon

How To Make spicy shrimp bites (sallye)

    Place shrimp in bowl with cover and sprinkle with soy sauce and garlic Add enough Sriracha sauce to coat the shrimp Stir to make sure shrimp is well coated Place covered in fridge for at least 2 hours, stirring at least twice to assure all shrimp are coated with sauce

    Preheat oven to 450º Spray baking sheet lightly with cooking spray (you may need two sheeets depending on how much shrimp you are cooking) Remove shrimp from fridge and pour into colander to drain Cut bacon slices in half

    Cook bacon until just limp on electric griddle at medium high heat (or in heavy skillet) Place on paper towels to drain fat

    Take one shrimp and wrap a slice of bacon around it Secure with toothpick and place in single layer on baking sheet. Continue wrapping each shrimp with bacon until all shrimp is wrapped. Place in preheated oven and cook until bacon is crisp (about 5 minutes) Cook more than one load if necessary.
