I like to use a bunch of green onions instead of a small onion. It tastes really good, and that's how I prefer it.

- 8 oz
- cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c
- 1 small
- onion, chopped fine
- 2 can(s)
1This seemed strange to me the first time I did this, but it works!
2Soak the shrimp in ice water for 10 to 15 minutes.
3While the shrimp are soaking, cream the mayo and cream cheese together. I use my mixer to get it nice and smooth. Mix in the onion.
4Drain the water off of the shrimp, and squeeze out excess water. I do this in my hands. Then gently shred the shrimp, and mix into the cream cheese and mayo.
Spread on your favorite crackers!
