King or Snow Crab Legs in the Crockpot

Hey- now you can have these whenever you want too--well whenever they are on sale- buy them up!
Fresh or frozen work great!
So good served with butter and lemon slices!

Ingredients

2 or 3 medium
bunches of snow crab legs per person
1/2 c
butter, melted
4 clove
garlic, minced
1 tsp
dill
lemon slices and butter for serving

Directions Step-By-Step

Rinse Snow crab legs or King crab legs under running water,; place legs in pot fitted with a a pan or dish and put water crockpot in until it comes 1/2 way up to the pan and legs can steam . (you want to steam them)
If desired saw or cut King crab legs in appetizer size pieces before or after cooking, your choice.

Melt the 1/2 cup butter in a small bowl and mix in the garlic and dill.
Pour mixture over crab legs in pan. Cover; cook on low for 1- 2 hours .

Serve with lemon and melted butter with a little garlic powder added.

Nick it may take a little longer- depends on the crock pot.- just as long as they are tender and hot inside the shell..just check them how and then...

ooops....I saw that and completely forgot. How about this instead......does the cooking time change for thawed to frozen?? Thanks.

N-at-N, you can use either fresh or frozen..Check out step 2.
