I’m such a huge fan of delicious foods that are super easy to make (who isn’t?). take this recipe, for example. it pretty much took about ten to fifteen minutes to make. Here’s my version of this popular recipe:

Ingredients For grilled shrimp with mango barbeque sauce

  • FOR THE MANGO BARBECUE GLAZE:
  • 2 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    mango jam or jelly
  • 2 Tbsp
    barbecue sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    finely diced onion
  • salt & pepper (to taste)
  • FOR THE GRILLED SHRIMP:
  • 1 lb
    medium or large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • salt & pepper (to taste)
  • skewers, metal or wood (soaked)

How To Make grilled shrimp with mango barbeque sauce

    In a small saucepan, heat the vinegar and sugar over medium heat until the mixture boils and the sugar dissolves. Add the mango jam, barbecue sauce and onion and bring it to a boil. Remove from heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Preheat the grill to medium-high.

    Thread the shrimp onto the skewers. Sprinkle the shrimp with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil. Place the shrimp skewers on the grill and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes per side, depending on the size of the shrimp, until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.

    Place the shrimp on a serving platter and brush them with the mango-barbecue glaze.
