When I made the Open Faced Crab Salad Sandwiches for my husband and son, I had leftover crab salad. I decided to mix it with some cream cheese and made it into a cheese ball. They now request it every weekend while watching football.

Peppers and celery give this cheese ball a nice crunch. It's impressive enough to serve at a dinner party, or simple enough to enjoy on game day. Quick & easy this is guaranteed to be a hit!


1/4 c
mayonnaise (may use reduced-fat)
1 dash(es)
garlic salt, to taste
1 dash(es)
ground black pepper, to taste
8 oz
imitation crab meat (can use real crab)
1/2 c
(2 oz) finely grated mozzarella cheese
2 Tbsp
finely grated sweet red bell pepper
2 Tbsp
finely chopped green onions
2 Tbsp
finely chopped celery
2 pkg
(8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all ingredients; shape into one or two balls and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve with crackers.
