I HATED liver until I tried this recipe about 20 years ago. Try this at your next gathering

Ingredients

1 can(s)
whole water chestnuts
3/4 can(s)
chicken livers cut in half
1 lb
bacon
1/4 tsp
ground ginger
1 clove
garlic minced
1/2 c
soy sauce

Step-By-Step

1Fold each piece of liver around a water chestnut
2Wrap with half a slice of bacon and fasten with a wooden toothpick
3Mix together the remaining ingredients in a medium sized bowl and marinate the chicken livers for 2 hours turning occasionally.
4Place each chicken liver on a rack in a shallow pan 4 -5 inches from heat and broil for 5 to 7 minutes turning once.
5Serve hot with chinese mustard
