Preheat your oven to 350*.
Dip wings in egg and coat with flour.
Heat the butter in a large skillet over med.-high heat. Fry the wings until they are a deep brown. Place them in a shallow roasting pan.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, water, sugar, vinegar, garlic powder and salt. Pour the mixture over wings.
Bake in 350* oven for 30 to 45 minutes, basting wings every 20 minutes with the sauce.
