1 lbground turkey

3/4 ccooked quinoa

3 clovegarlic, minced

2green onions, sliced thin, more for later

1 Tbspsoy sauce

2 tspsesame oil

1/2 tspsiracha sauce

kosher salt and pepper to taste

sesame seeds for garnish

1/4 csoy sauce

2 Tbsprice vinegar
-
1 Tbspfreshly grated ginger

1 Tbspbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 tspsesame oil
-
1/2 tspsiracha sauce

2 tspcorn starch

2 Tbspchilli sauce
How To Make asian quinoa meatballs

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly oil a 9x13 dish with nonstick spray.

2In a large bowl, combine turkey, quinoa, garlic, onions, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, Siracha, salt and pepper, to taste. Using a wooden spoon, stir well until combined. Roll mixture into 1 to 1 1/2 inch meatballs forming 18-36 meatballs.

3Place meatballs in prepared dish and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until all sides are browned and meatballs are cooked through

4To make the sauce, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, sugar, sesame oil, Siracha, chili sauce and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium high heat.

5In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water. Stir into soy sauce mixture until thickened, about 2 minutes.

6Serve meatballs immediately with sauce, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
