I have bought Hummus in the deli section of supermarket many times. This "homemade" variety is so much better.

I prefer it with pita bread, whole wheat tortillas or served with crudites.

Ingredients

2 can(s)
chickpeas, rinsed & drained
1/4 c
tahini sesame butter
1/2 c
water
3 Tbsp
olive oil
3 clove
garlic, minced
3 Tbsp
fresh lemon juice
1 tsp
salt
1 Tbsp
cumin

Directions Step-By-Step

Place all ingredients into a food processor (or blender) and process until very smooth. If too thick for your taste, add a little more water.

Refrigerate in air tight container for 7-10 days.
