This is the last snack I had at a bar with my husband in Atlanta. The bartender won't give me the recipe, but said if I could guess what was in it he'd tell me. So here goes! I did it!

Ingredients For fried pasta bows

  • 12 oz
    bow tie pasta
  • 1/4 c
    black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    caraway seeds
  • 1 tsp
    celery salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    basil, dried
  • 1 tsp
    garlic salt

How To Make fried pasta bows

  • 1
    the aforesaid can be mixed ahead of time and saved in a tight lid jar, plastic baggie. cook pasta according to directions, drain and cool, then deep fat fry in 4 inches of peanut oil in hot skillet just until golden remove and drain on paper towels. sprinkle on warm bow ties and serve with beer, wine, mixed drink or cola type beverage.
