I serve this at Fourth of July cookouts or any holiday get together.
*** I use the La Costena or Goya chipotle peppers in Adobo Sauce.

Ingredients

1(15 oz.) can(s)
chick peas(garbanzos)
1 tsp
minced garlic
2 Tbsp
tahini
1 Tbsp
lemon juice
2 Tbsp
chipotle chili peppers in adobo sauce
1/2 tsp
salt

Directions Step-By-Step

Drain the chick peas reserving 2 Tbsp. of the liquid.

Heat oil in a skillet and saute the garlic until it is tender.

Place the chick peas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, salt, reserved liquid and chili peppers in a food processor (or blender).

Process (or blend) until smooth.

Place in a serving bowl and serve with pita chips or fresh veggies (like baby carrots, celery sticks, broccoli florets, black olives and cherry tomatoes.
