Everyone loves this super easy appetizer. I have made it with Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, for work luncheons, holidays, and even at our Sunday Family Night Dinner when we do appetizers only! There are never any leftovers of this!

Fry the beef and hot sausage, and drain excess fat.

Melt the cheese.

Mix the ground beef, sausage and melted cheese and let it cool.

Spread the mix on the rye bread and freeze on a cookie sheet.

Put into plastic bags.

Thaw and bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Serve hot.

Judy, what a great thing to have on hand in the freezer! Do you use Velevta cheese? Thanks for the recipe.It is football time and I am always looking for new snack ideas.

Yes, I use Velveta. And you are right with football season starting it is time to get these snacks ready for the crowd!
