Weird title. But oh so good! Lil smokies wrapped in bacon glazed with a brown sugar mixture and baked til browned! These little piggies are perfect for parties and get-togethers and I guarantee these simple little bites of heaven (or hell if your on a diet) will be a winner with everyone as these are soooo addicting! These run out fast so be sure to double the recipe! Enjoy!

Ingredients For pig candy

  • 27
    hillshire farm lil' smokies sausages (abt 1 pkg)
  • 9
    slices of bacon
  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/3 c
    ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    barbecue sauce
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce

How To Make pig candy

    Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  • 2
    Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease
  • 3
    Cut bacon into thirds
  • 4
    Wrap bacon around sausages and secure with a toothpick (if you do not have toothpicks just place seal side down)

    Place bacon wrapped sausages on greased foil-lined baking sheet

    Mix together in a small- medium sized bowl brown sugar, ketchup, barbecue sauce and Worcestershire sauce until well blended

    Brush (or dip) brown sugar mixture onto bacon wrapped smokies

    Bake for 30 minutes or until desired brownness or crispness. Serve to your party of guests and watch them disappear quickly!
