Ham and Pineapple on skewers

Lynnda's Story

Simple and delicious. You will need about 30 long cocktail toothpicks.

Ingredients

5 to 6 slices of cooked ham, cut 1/2 inch thick and then into 1 inch cubes
1 large can pineapple, drained but save some juice
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
one jar maraschino cherries, optional

Directions Step-By-Step

Take a long toothpick; place a piece of ham, piece of pineapple and then a cherry. Repeat til all the skewers are filled. It’s that simple

In mixing bowl, mix the pineapple juice and brown sugar. Mix well. You may need to add a little more brown sugar to get the right consistency. dip each of the skewers into the sauce itl well coated.

Arrange on long platter or several small appetizer plates. This can be served hot or cold.
