turkey hot dogs cut in 1 inch sections

brown sugar, lightly packed
1 1/2 c
whiskey of your choice

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix the ketchup & whiskey together. Add the brown sugar and when all mixed, stur in the hot dogs. Put the mixture in a high sided casserole dish suitable for serving.
Bake at 375 degrees for 2 hours or until the top looks like it is bubbling, turn the temp down if necessary to avoid burning.Watch that the top doesn't start to burn because of the sugar. Stir every twenty minutes to distribute the heat. BE SURE TO PUT USE WOODEN SPOON TO SLIGHTLY PROP OPEN THE OVEN DOOR TO LET THE ALCOHOL ESCAPE IN THE COOKING PROCESS. They are done when the sauce is very thick and the meat looks fully saturated. Serve at once with plenty of tooth picks.
