Hi Stormy,
I am dehydrating your recipe right now and it smells sooooooo good! I make a lot of deer jerky and have been trying to get the right taste for ground jerky. I think where I messed up was by mixing the sauces in with my meat. I can't wait to taste your recipe:)

Stormy.. I do not like deer, but that jerky is good! I like it so much better than the store mixes. I will use your recipe and try some different spices when this is gone. Probably tomorrow :). My husband wanted to take it to work with him and I said no. I am sure I will be making this for Christmas gifts this year. Thank you for sharing. By the way what is your blue ribbon for?

This sounds good, but I've never seen a jerky gun... could anything else be used to press the meat out? How thin should it be?
