My brother Mark sent me this recipe along time ago from Montana. It takes awhile but it turned out pretty good.

Ingredients

5 lb
hamburger or any ground meeat you choose
2 1/2 tsp
coarse ground pepper
5 tsp
quick cure salt
2 tsp
garlic powder
3 tsp
hickory smoked salt

Step-By-Step

1mix all ingredients and add to hamburger
2place in a covered dish in the refrigerator for 4 days. remix on the 2nd and 3rd day. 4th day form into 5 1pound loaves.
3place on a cookie sheet and cover with foil.
4bake at 200 degrees for 8 hours. turning every 2 hours
