This is a great appetizer for your next party.  The flavor of the bacon is so savory and delicious. These are sure to be a hit! 

Ingredients

1 can(s)
crescent rolls, 8 oz
2
(3 oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
8 to 10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 Tbsp
minced onions
1 to 2 tsp. milk
grated parmesean Cheese

Directions Step-By-Step

Unroll crescent roll dough and seperate into 4 rectangles. Press performations to seal. Mix together cream cheese, crumbled bacon, minced onions and milk (may need to add more milk so mixture will spread easily.) SPread on rectangles. Roll up, jelly roll style, starting at long side. Press edges to seal. Cut each roll into 8 slices. Place on ungreased baking sheet. SPrinkle swirls evenly with Parmesean cheese. Bake at 375 for 12 to 15 minutes, or until brown.

I've made these dozens of times. I use puff pastry or crescent rolls, both work great. I use 8 OZ. Of cream cheese, sometimes more & I use more bacon. Before rolling them up, I sprinkle creole seasoning over the cream cheese. I've made them with cheddar, bacon, ground beef & green onions for a bacon cheeseburger taste for football Sundays.
Before cutting them up, wrap the roll in parchment paper & refrigerate for a few hours. They will cut MUCH neater & easier.

Is this supposed to be two 8oz packages of cream cheese instead of 3oz?

I didn't get to make 'em at our family get together but I did make 'em for my hubby n son. They thought they were good. I added almost the full 8oz's container of crm ch bc to me recipes rarely call for enuff ;) & to compensate I added a lil extra onion & bacon. The bacon flavor wasn't really detectable to me but it was still vry good.
