Super Easy gourmet Appetizer/ sandwich

Had left over wine-soaked cheddar from Bookclub, and I found the taste too strong to enjoy by itself. I tried this, and WOW! Definitely tasty enough to serve to guests, and so easy, too. :)

Ingredients

sliced wine-soaked cheddar, or swiss cheese
dried cranberries/craisins
crusty sourdough bread

Step-By-Step

1Toast sourdough slices.

Step 2 Direction Photo

2Top with cheese slices and dried cranberries. Can top with another slice of bread to make sandwich, or leave open-faced.

3Microwave to melt cheese. (Could skip toasting and grill, if you prefer.)

Cut & serve as appetizer or with soup/salad for a meal.
