My mom taught me this recipe. You can serve them anytime. They are great for parties, breakfast, brunch or snacks. At times, she would also add a little poultry seasoning, for a subtle change of taste.

Ingredients For gail's sausage balls

  • 1 lb
    roll (raw) sausage -jimmy dean or owens
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 c
    bisquick or pioneer baking mix

How To Make gail's sausage balls

  • 1
    Mix together sausage and cheese.
  • 2
    Work bisquick into sausage mixture.
  • 3
    Form into 1-inch sized balls.

    Place on cookie sheet (sprayed with Pam) Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Remove and place on paper towels. Good served hot or cold.
