| 1 Tbsp | all-purpose flour |
| salt to taste | |
| 1 3/4 c | grated cheddar cheese |
| 1/2 c | bread crumbs |

Directions
In a mixing bowl beat the egg whites until stiff. In a separate mixing bowl blend the flour and salt. Add the flour with the cheese to the egg whites. Blend well. Drop by teaspoonfuls into the bread crumbs, coating well. Shape into balls.
Drop the balls into deep hot oil (375F) and fry for about 2 to 3 minutes or until golden. Drain on paper towels. Serve warm or cold.
