Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
2 tbsp. ketchup
1 can refried beans, 16 oz
liquid hot pepper seasoning to taste
2 oz. sharp natural cheddar cheese, grated, about 1/2 cup
sliced stuffed olives, optional
ritz crackers

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown beef with next three ingredients; drain fat. Add next four ingredients. Mash in beans. Heat, stirring frequently. Add liquid hot pepper seasoning to taste. Garnish with cheese and if desired, sliced olives. Serve warm with Ritz crackers. Makes about 3 1/2 cups
