I line baking sheets with parchment paper to reduce burning and sticking.

For a bit more spice, add more cayenne pepper to taste.

Watch biscuits during baking and remove when slightly browned for a chewy biscuit.

Biscuits will keep for 2 weeks or more in an airtight container.

Ingredients

2 c
sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 lb
butter
3/4 tsp
salt
1 tsp
cayenne pepper
2 c
flour
2 c
rice krispies

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grate cheese and blend with butter. Add salt, cayenne pepper, flour, and Rice Krispies. Drop from teaspoon into small bite-size pieces and flatten with a fork. Dough will be stiff. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
