This is a very elegant appetizer. Very rich so cut the wedges small.

Ingredients

1
single pie crust
1/2 c
pecans, chopped
8 oz
cream cheese, softened
4 oz
blue cheese, crumbled
1/2 c
half and half or light cream
2 medium
eggs
3/4 tsp
worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp
coarsely ground pepper
1 bunch
fresh chives and chive blossoms (optional)

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 F. Layer pecans evenly in the bottom of pie crust.
2In a food processor or with an electric mixer, combine cream cheese, blue cheese, cream, eggs, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Process until smooth and pour over pecans.
3Bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until filling is set. Cool for 1 hour. Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
4To serve, cut into wedges. Garnish with chive and chive blossoms.
