My mother and I started doing this Cheese Ball many years ago and it has become a family MUST at all family gatherings...none is complete without the Cheese Ball. There are actually arguments over who gets leftovers...when there are any!
Allow cream cheese to come to room temperature before working with it. Chop pressed ham into fine pieces. In a medium to large bowl, mix the packages of cream cheese, chopped ham and Italian Salad Dressing. Mix well then form into a ball. Place in the refrigerator for 5 minutes to chill just a little. Place chopped nuts in a plate and roll slightly chilled cheese ball in pecans, coating cheese ball evenly and well. Place back in refrigerator to chill completely.
