Ingredients

fresh whole mushrooms, stems removed and reserved
2 Tbsp
butter
1 tsp
minced garlic
3 Tbsp
cream cheese
3 Tbsp
grated parmesan cheese
1/2
onion, minced
salt and pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1wash mushrooms with a damp paper towel. mince reserved stems.

2saute onions, add stems and garlic

3remove from heat, add cream cheese and parmesan cheese and salt, pepper to taste

4fill mushroom caps with the prepared stuffing. sprinkle additional parmesan cheese if desired

5bake at 350F for 20 to 25 minutes until mushroom juice is visible in pan
