The 1st time I had these I fell in love. it was given to me by my step mother Joyce Halbrook.It is a family favorite and we make them for every occasion

Ingredients For grandma's jalapeno poppers

  • 2 lb
    pork sausage, mild
  • 3 pkg
    cream cheese
  • 1 lb
    jalapeno peppers
  • bacon, uncooked chopped

How To Make grandma's jalapeno poppers

    Remove stems of peppers, slice in half, deseed and rinse (wear rubber gloves) set aside and let dry.

    cook Pork sausage crumbling into small bits. Drain off grease. Mix in Cream Cheese until creamy.

    Spread halved peppers on baking sheet cut side up. Fill with cream cheese mixture sparingly.(if any left over go back and fill in)

    Place chopped bacon over tops. Bake at 350 for 30mins or until bacon is done. serve warm
