25 year old recipe. Named by my daughter Farrah. Very portable, can be eaten without utensils. We like to make and serve it on disposable platters; great for picnics and days out on the lake.

Ingredients For georgia dawg food dip

  • 8 oz
    block not whipped cream cheese
  • 15 oz
    canned chili. use your favorite brand
  • 1/3 c
    diced black olives
  • 1/3 c
    finely chopped green onion
  • 1/3 c
    red bell or yellow pepper finely diced
  • 1/3 c
    loosely packed finely chopped cilantro
  • serve with large bag of tortilla chips (we like the round style chips)

How To Make georgia dawg food dip

  • 1
    *assemble and serve on large 15" platter, preferably with a small lip* Spread softened cream cheese on bottom of platter. Approximately 1/2" thick.

    Completely cover cream cheese with chili, distribute evenly.

    Then add chopped vegetables in order listed.

    Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 15 minutes. Serve with chips.
