1 lb
uncooked shimp peeled and deviened
4 oz
can water chestnuts drained and choppd
1 Tbsp
soy sauce
1 tsp
each minced ginger, minced onion, sherry or shaxoing wine
1/2 tsp
sesame oil
1/4 tsp
white pepper
1 large
egg
2 Tbsp
cornstarch
1 1/4 c
panko bread crumbs
oil for frying

GARLIC SAUCE

6 clove
garlic minced
1 Tbsp
canola oil
1 Tbsp
each soy sauce and oyster sauce
2 Tbsp
rice vinegar
1 tsp
chili garlic sauce
1/4 c
brown sugar
1 Tbsp
cornstarch
1/2 c
water

Directions Step-By-Step

Shrimp balls

throw everything for shrimp ball except panko and oil in food processor and pulse to a paste. Place in freezer 15 minutes. Roll into balls and dredge in panko. Deep fry at 325 degrees until browned Serve with garlic dipping sauce

Garlic Sauce

Add oil to pan and saute the garlic 30 seconds. Add the remaining ingredients except cornstarch and water. Cook one minute. Mix the water and cornstarch together and add to pan to thicken sauce. Serve with shrimp balls
