Ingredients For italian snax

4 Tbspbutter

1 Tbspolive oil

1/2 tspsalt or seasoned salt

1/4-1/2 tspitalian herb seasoning (according to your taste)

1/2-1 tspgarlic powder (to your taste)

6 csmall cereal squares (such as chex)

1/2 + 1/8 cfreshly grated parmesan cheese (not shredded; may use pre-grated if you must)
How To Make italian snax

1Line a cookie sheet/sheet pan with a layer of paper towels; set aside.

2In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat.

3Add olive oil, salt, italian seasoning and garlic powder; mix well.

4Add cereal and stir to coat well.

5Continue to stir and heat for 5 to 6 minutes, until cereal is lightly toasted.

6Remove from heat, sprinkle parmesan cheese over cereal, carefully stirring to coat well.

7Spread on paper towel lined sheet pan to cool and sprinkle with remaining 1/8 cup cheese.

8Store cooled snax in an airtight container or zipper bag.
