    vanilla wafers cookies, finely crushed
  • 1/3 c
    butter, melted
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 3 1/4 c
    milk, divided
  • 1
    tub whipped topping, divided
  • 2 box
    vanilla instant pudding
  • 1/2 c
    caramel ice cream topping
  • 2
    apples, 1 red and 1 green
  • 1/4 c
    peanuts, chopped

How To Make caramel apple dessert

    Mix wafer crumbs and butter; press onto the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan.

    Beat the cream cheese, sugar and ¼ cup of milk with a mixer until well blended. Stir in 1 cup of whipped topping; spread over crust.

    Beat pudding mixes and remaining milk with a whisk for 2 minutes. Stir in ¼ cup of the caramel topping. Spoon over the cream cheese layer; top with remaining whipped topping.

    Refrigerate for 5 hours until firm. Top with apples, nuts and remaining caramel topping just before serving.
