Robyn's Notes:

My Mom used to make this yummy custard. The flour settles to the bottom and creates its own crust. Easy and very good!

Similar to chess pie, but prepared in a wonderfully unique way! Love.

this sounds good except for the 'margarine'...have you ever made it with real butter?

I haven't made it with real butter, Mom always used margarine, so I do. But I think real butter would be good too. I might just try it!

Does it have to be 2% milk? My husband has high cholesterol and high blood pressure, so I only buy skim.

Has anyone made a chocolate pie that the crust forms as it bakes? I've made one like this with coconut and it was delicious, but curious about experimenting with cocoa in the batter.

I have one in the oven now.... my grandmother made this at least 3 times a month and I love them. I didnt have nutmeg so I hope it will still be good.
