Ingredients
| 1 c | Fresh green seedless grapes |
| 1 c | Fresh red seedless grapes |
| 2 c | Fresh cantaloupe |
| 2 c | Fresh honeydew melon |
| 2 c | pineapple chunks, fresh |
| 3 c | watermelon |
| 2 c | red apples |
| Juice of 1 lemon | |
| 1/4 c | sugar |
| 1 oz | Fresh mint chopped |
| 1 oz | Fresh Basil chopped |
| 2 tsp | vanilla extract |
| 4 oz | shaved coconut |
| whipped cream |

Several years ago I had a delicious fruit salad at a bed & breakfast I was staying it. It was so good, in fact, that I've been trying to replicate it on my own ever since! Well, to my great thrill this one has done it! I love the addition of mint in this salad, and after it marinates for a while it is even better. Directions
Peel the apples, cut into bite sized pieces and place into a bowl of water with the juice of the lemon to keep from browning and set aside.
Remove the grapes from the stems and set aside.
Cut all the remaining fruit into bite sized pieces and place into a large bowl.
Drain the apples, combine all of the cut fruit, add the sugar, mint, basil, vanilla and optional coconut and gently toss.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Serve in a bowl and top with a dollop of whipped cream
