I have made this so long that I don't remember where I got the recipe. I only know that my family, friends, and neighbors love them and always ask me to bring them to picnics when invited. I know that you will love them also.

Great Northern Beans, drained
1 lb

brown sugar
16 oz

dark Karo syrup or any dark corn syrup or molasses
24 oz

ketchup
1 lb

bacon
1 md

onion, chopped
1 tsp

mustard

How To Make out-of-this-world baked beans

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Chop bacon. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside.

In the same pan, cook chopped onions in the bacon grease until soft.

In a large mixing bowl, combine drained beans, brown sugar, corn syrup, ketchup, and mustard.

Pour into a baking dish.

Bake uncovered for 3 hours.
