Gay's notes for this recipe:
These are one of my daughter's favorites, not only to make but eat as a little girl. Now that she is grown and has a family of her own, she loves to make these muffins.

A sweetly tart pick-me-up perfect for brunch! Hmmm... I wonder how these would be if made with PINK lemonade!

Preheat oven to 375. Mix dry ingredients.
In another bowl, mix 1/2 cup lemonade, egg, milk and oil. Add the dry ingredients. Stir in nuts.
Prepare muffin pan with vegetable spray or cupcake liners. Fill with batter about 2/3 full. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
While hot, brush with remaining lemonade and sprinkle with granulated or powdered sugar.

Tried your muffins this morning and they are very good. They are also very easy to make. MHW

I was wondering what MHW stands for? I googled it for acronyms, but nothing seemed to fit... Thanks!

Laura - I think those are Martha's initials.
