Vonna's Story

These cookies are so easy to make and everybody loves them. It's fun to experiment with different cake flavors, too. We've made these with coconut cake mix and added coconut flakes as well.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
These cookies are easy to prepare and MUCH easier to enjoy.  I love the crunchiness on the outside and the gooey inside.

I made these cookies to use up two boxes of cake mix (devil's food & yellow)I've had in the cupboard forever. I added pecans to the devil's food and dried cranberries to the yellow. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much and they were FABULOUS! Definitely going into the "favorites" recipe book.
