FREDA's Notes:

Cracker barrels, or the Next thing to it. . . Grill . . without the Grill These are Tasty critters. Found several on the INternet Similar to these. But this is the One I use.
Hope you enjoy.

NOTE: "BE PATIENT" Don't get in any Hurry making these.
These will take You about 40 Min to cook on the stove top. The Marinate you cook the Tenders in will carmelize first, then you scrap the tenders thru the Carmelizing in the bottom of the pan, turning as your scraping the carmelize, keep scraping and turning, and they will eventually be Brown with the carmelized sauce, and soo tasty.

Directions

1
place Cut chicken tenders in zip lock bag.
2
in a Pint Jar, Add all the other ingredients
Shake to Blend well.
3
Pour the liquid over the Chicken tenders in the Bag.
SEAL, Marinate, at least 1 hr or more.
4
Place "non stick Skillet" Over Medium Heat,
Pour all the Ingredients from the Bag into the Skillet. Continue cooking over Medium heat till Liquid evaporates and the remaining marinade becomes THICK, and Carmelized. about 40 min. (give or take)
5
Coat each piece of chicken in marinade by rubbing/scraping each piece around the bottom of the pan, coating and turning each piece to coat with brown carmelizing, they will be a golden brown, before removing from the pan.
6
NOTE; BE PATIENT. . . do not get in a hurry. the carmelized coating will turn carmelized brown that will coat the Chicken tenders. takes about 40 min.

I LOVE this recipe! Ive used it many times (without the lemon juice, so I will have to try that) I marinate them and grill them, but I would think this method is wonderful! Will try for sure! Thanks for sharing. :)

Thank You Deb. . . Its easy and tastes good too. The Brn sugar makes a little Sweeter marinade. The Homey is great too. I have made it Both ways. Depends on what I had on hand. NO HONEY, Use BRN SUGAR.
