| 12 | strips of bacon (maple-smoked, preferably) |
| 1 1/2 c | semi sweet chocolate chips |
| 1/2 c | peanut butter chips |
| 1 can(s) | sweetned condensed milk (14oz) |
| 4 Tbsp | unsalted butter |
| 1/2 tsp | maple flavoring |
| 1 c | peanuts, dry roasted (coarsley chopped), optional |

COAT AN 8-INCH-SQUARE PAN WITH COOKING SPRAY. COOK BACON IN MICROWAVE UNTIL CRISP. CUT INTO SMALL PIECES.COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT BACON IN A MEDIUM SAUCEPAN OVER MEDIUM LOW HEAT. STIR CONTINUOUSLY UNTIL CHIPS AND BUTTER ARE MELTED, AND MIXTURE IS THICK AND SMOOTH. REMOVE FROM HEAT. STIR IN BACON.POUR INTO PREPARED PAN. SPRINKLE WITH RESERVED CHOPPED BACON ON TOP AND LIGHTLY PRESS WITH YOUR FINGERTIPS. COVER WITH ALUMINUM FOIL AND CHILL INT THE REFRIGERATOR UNTIL FIRM, AT LEAST 4 HOURS, OR PREFERABLY OVERNIGHT.

I cook my bacon in the oven. Preheat oven to 350. I line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil, spray it with non stick spray, then lay the bacon out. Cover with another sheet of foil. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to crisp up. (It really depends on where you are. We are high altitude and it takes longer)

I love all ingredients, Kimi, but what do they taste like all together? I'm trying to imagine. Can you compare it with anything?
Also, just a suggestion: Line your pan with sprayed aluminum foil & pour the fudge in it. When set, pull out the whole thing by the foil hanging over edges & cut as usual. Saves on clean up, but most importantly cuts easier & removes easier; no trying to dig it out of pan.
