How To Make barley stew
-
1Pour all ingredients into a large slow cooker. Stir and cook on high until barley is soft. My cooker will get it done in two hours or a little less but each cooker is different so know how your cooker temperature runs so you can judge the seving time. If you think the stew is too thick, add more broth or water to obtain desired consistency.

2If you have leftovers you can freeze it in serving sizes of choice and reheat in microwave with no problems.

3Great with homemade cornbread.
