Ingredients For seafood chowder

1 Tbspvegetable oil

2 cchopped yellow onions
-
1 cchopped celery
-
1/2 cdiced carrots
-
4bay leaves
-
1 tspchopped garlic
-
4 cclam juice
-
3 ctomatoes
-
1 1/4 lbnew potatoes,quartered

2 cfresh sweet corn kernels
-
1/2 cfinely chopped parsley
-
4 lbraw assorted,cleaned shellfish(med shrimp,shucked oysters,crabmeat,diced lobster meat,wholke mussels,clams

2 Tbspfinely chopped fresh parsley leaves

salt to taste

cayenne pepper to taste
How To Make seafood chowder

1In a large saucepan over medium heat,add oil.When the oil is hot,stir in onions celery and carrots.

2Season vegetables with salt cayenne pepper,and bay leaves.Saute for 6 minutes,or untill the vegetable are tender

3Stir in clam juice and tomatoes,and bring to a boil.

4Add the the potatoes and corn,simmer for 15 minutes,or till potatoes are fork tender,

5Add the seafood and simmer the soup for 5 minutes.Stir in the parsley,and enjoy!
