My mom made potato soup a lot and I can never make it like she did. I have discovered a simple way to make it now. hope you like it as much as we do.

Ingredients For patsy's potato soup

1 pkgfrozen hash browns

1 lgonion, chopped fine
-
1 canevaporated milk (optional)

1/2 qtmilk
-
1 ccheese, shredded
-
1 cchicken broth
-
salt & pepper to taste

1/2 stickbutter, (1/2 stick to 1 whole stick)
How To Make patsy's potato soup

1Cook frozen potatoes and onions in chicken broth until tender.

2Add milk and cook until very warm, add cheese and cook until melted

3I add 1/2 to 1 stick of butter because I like the flavor. add salt & pepper. sometimes I add sliced hot dogs for the kids. they love it.
